Naresuan University’s NUCAR Receives International Recognition for GLP Compliance

In a remarkable achievement, the Naresuan University Center for Animal Research (NUCAR) has been certified as a GLP-compliant test facility, thanks to the unwavering support and contributions of Dr. Boo Hyon Kang, a distinguished Research Fellow from the Pathology Evaluation Headquarters, Nonclinical Research Institute, CorestemChemon Inc., South Korea.

On Monday, May 20th, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornnarin Taepavarapruk, the Director of NUCAR, invited Dr. Kang to meet with Associate Professor Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, the President of Naresuan University. During this momentous occasion, Dr. Kang was awarded a plaque in recognition of his invaluable contributions to NUCAR since 2016, which have been instrumental in achieving this significant milestone.

The GLP certification is a testament to NUCAR’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in animal research. This achievement ensures that test study data generated at NUCAR will be accepted by at least 45 OECD member and non-member countries, in accordance with the OECD principle of Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD).
